Powered by SLAS, SLIP will be updated and improved, but will still retain the features customers have come to rely on, such as the compliance checkup dashboard, the tax estimator, and billing and transaction reports.
SLAS is a comprehensive surplus lines tax reporting and payment solution composed of SLIP, a web portal used by agents to report surplus lines premium, and RAPID, a sophisticated management system used by regulators for policy review, auditing, and reporting. Including Florida, SLAS handles the reporting and taxation of surplus lines premium in 12 states and processes more than 1/3 of the nation's surplus lines premium.
